How do you install a compression tester in cylinder #4 on ej255 engine? I performed as a contortionist to get the spark plug out, but can't figure out how to thread in the hose from the generic compression tester I borrowed from the auto parts store. 2011 Legacy 2.5i with about 190k on it. Bought it brand new. On November of 2021, the top radiator hose popped out of the radiator while I was driving. Car overheated but lucky I was close to home. Did some research, found out my thermostat was stuck open/closed forgot which one but I had to repl. Previous owner had the timing belt, 02 sensor, a compression test (all 4 cylinders 125psi +/- 2psi), and spark plugs done (albeit gapped to 0.025) and it seemed to purr when I first saw it. But in less than 24hrs the car went from pulling hard to putting itself in limp mode with CEL flashing in my face.
